Church, Nottingham, between the Hon James Savile, son of the Earl and
Countess of Mexborough, of Hawnby, North Yorkshire, and Victoria, only
daughter of Mr and Mrs (Jane) Nicholas J. Forman Hardy, of Car
Colston, Nottinghamshire.
The honeymoon is being spent in the Far East.

Nick is the son of the late Major Thomas Eben Forman Hardy, M.C.,
T.D., of Car Colston Hall, Car Colston.

The heir apparent to the 8th Earl of Mexborough (b1931) is the present
holder's eldest son John Andrew Bruce Savile, Viscount Pollington
(b1959)
The heir apparent's heir presumptive is his half-brother the Hon.
James Hugh Hope John Savile (b. 1976)

I had hoped at first glance that this might have been one of the
triplet Savile's, but nonetheless good news all round especially as it
might reasonably be reasoned that Viscount Pollington is unlikely to
marry and produce children at the age of 51.
